We've got more quarterbacks to talk about, but they're not the quarterbacks you think,

at least not off the top of the show today because we're talking about some quote unquote tier two

guys maybe even a tier three guy depending on who you are talking about michael pennix and spencer

rattler we're going to go back and forth a little bit as to the advantages and disadvantages of

drafting both guys if you listen to the patriots talk podcast from earlier this week, myself, Tom Caron,

going over a couple of different scenarios.

We'll go over them here again just to sort of paint a picture.

If the Patriots aren't necessarily sold on taking a quarterback at number three overall,

if they don't have the conviction necessary to be able to draft a Drake May, for instance,

at number three, or a J.J. McCarthy at number three, assuming Jane Daniels is off the board at number two,

then what do you do? I've got a few ideas, and I want to share them with you. We're also talking

with Spencer Rattler himself.

Yes, we've had this interview in the can for a while now. We spoke to him actually during

Super Bowl week, but had a great chat with him, talked about one of his favorite throws from

this past season, talked about what it feels like for him to be a guy that I consider to be relatively underrated.

That was not a great situation in South Carolina in terms of what he was dealing with on the

offensive line.

Now, he had a playmaking receiver in Xavier Leggett, rare physical traits.
