Isaiah 9, verse 6 and 7, the children brought this out to us.

It said, for unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government shall be upon his shoulder.

His name shall be called wonderful, counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting father, the prince of peace.

It goes on.

But this story, the Christmas story, or Christmas story, has been viewed by some, by many actually, in the same vein as the stories about Santa and elves and reindeer.

Do you know what I'm talking about?

Or, you know, the story of the resurrection, what people call Easter time, has been viewed

in the same vein as Peter Rabbit and the Easter Bunny.

And so the question is, is this just a nice story that people like to tell, that make people feel good about themselves or whatever, about some things this time of year?

Or is the Bible true? Is the Bible true?

Is the Bible true?

Did this really happen and the rest of the story that followed?

Now, it takes faith to believe this because the origin of this story goes back millennia to the beginning of this book, the Bible, where the creation of the heavens and the earth and the fall of man,

and God's saying, even the moment man fell, him saying right after that, that the seed of man was going to bruise the enemy's head,

and he's talking about a recovery of mankind and a full salvation.

And though many things happened for century after century,

this is the fulfillment of prophecy, the fulfillment of scripture

that a child was born without the agency of a human father.

That Mary conceived supernaturally.

She asked the question, when the angel told her, you will conceive.

And the holy thing that born of you will be the son of God.

She said, how can this be?
