0:07.1	If she didn't respect you before the breakup, she probably won't with a second chance.
0:13.7	So this particular email is from a viewer who dumped his ex five months ago, and now he's
0:19.1	moving to another state, and the reason he dumped her is that
0:23.0	she just didn't respect his boundaries around other men there was always kind of shady stuff going on
0:28.2	so he dumped her he's now moving to another state he'd been hanging out having fun and
0:33.6	hook it up with other ladies and so of, he finds some stuff that belongs to her.
0:38.9	And he's like, well, this is really important stuff, you know, sentimental things.
0:43.0	So he texted her where she could get her stuff. And then, of course, a couple days later,
0:48.8	he finds stuff that belongs to her kids. So he texts her about that. They end up hanging out.
0:57.4	And now he's moved and now he's considering potentially getting back together, which is just kind of nutty. Because sometimes,
1:05.9	or more often than it should happen, guys are dating a broken woman and thinking, well, I got this book. It works
1:12.6	so well with everything else. I can fix a broken woman with Corey's book. It's like, no, you can't.
1:17.9	You're not going to undo the bad parenting that her father did. So he says, hi, Corey, I broke things
1:24.0	off to my ex about five months ago. And I've read and listened to your book well over 15 times, and when it's been a couple of months, they're just taking a road trip
1:33.4	alone, I listened to it. I broke it off of my ex after four and a half years because she didn't
1:39.1	appreciate me. She didn't respect me, probably because she doesn't respect her father, so she doesn't respect men in general.
1:46.0	And so no amount of jumping through your butt is going to make her respect you.
1:51.5	And her boundaries with men in general.
1:56.1	She was often evasive and non-transparent.
1:59.3	Well, dude, that's a deal breaker.
