First I suppose one more time we should hear Kamala Harris explaining artificial intelligence

to a group of civil rights leaders yesterday.

I think the first part of this issue that should be articulated is AI is kind of a fancy thing.

It's first of all two letters.

It means artificial intelligence, but ultimately what it is is it's about machine learning.

And so the machine is taught.

And part of the issue here is what information is going into the machine

that will then determine and we can predict then if we think about what machine,

what information is going in, what then will be produced in terms of decisions and opinions

that may be made through that process.

So what I would like to know is I'd like to talk to any of the civil rights leaders there and

say did you come away from that knowing any more about our visual tunnel just then when you walk

in because I don't think you probably did.

I would like to see Kamala Harris face off in a debate or some sort of college bowl or

speaking contest or something with an especially bright nine year old.

My money's on the nine year old.

AI, it's two letters is kind of a fancy name but it's two letters for artificial intelligence.
