What if Downs, Bailey, Bain, and Reese are all gone by seven.

What do you do? If Love and Tate are the only two great players

left on the board? Yeah, I've seen that scenario painted a few times. I think we talked about it

recently. I know I asked, I'm pretty sure I asked Stanford Steve last week who really knows the draft well about, you know, those guys all being gone, what would you do?

And so Dan Quinn yesterday did some of the rounds at the Indy Combine, and he sat down with Rich Eisen.

And he was asked about Jeremiah Love and the possibility of Washington selecting Jeremiah Love at number 7.

Here's what he said.

This great balance that we have together, and I certainly enjoy it.

Pardon me for asking about a specific player, but I'm going to do it anyway.

Jeremiah loves sitting out there, and obviously you've got some, you know, decisions to make on the offensive side of the ball. Yep. It's a dynamic running back. You could see what, you, you as a

defensive coordinator in this league know how difficult it is to stop somebody who can do it from that position. Is it, where are you on the philosophy of taking a running back as high as you're drafting? Yeah, I think the best thing, man, like who are the guys that can help impact your team? Right. And I think our league has changed a little bit, Rich, you know, over the last few years into that way. when you see guys who can absolutely make impactful plays

to do things, that's really what you're looking for.

How does somebody impact the team in a great way?

And sometimes that's through running back.

And we've seen the players over the last four or five years

who have done that, and they deliver.
