So far north that for the whole winter, the land was blanketed in snow.

It was cold there, but the people kept warm just fine.

The village was a normal village just like any other, except for one thing.

In this village, no one sang.

Singing was outlawed.

Generations had passed,

so many in fact

that no one remembered why singing was not allowed.

But none of the villagers ever had an itch to sing.

It was Christmas time now,

and the first snow fell heavy upon the land.
