How's to do with the doctrine of election?

Yesterday, you responded to a man's question about people's accountability to God,

depending on whether they'd heard the gospel.

And you said that there's the universal call, God's acknowledging himself in creation. And then you listed there are people who were in church. You hear the gospel call, God's acknowledging himself in creation.

And then you listed there are people who were in church, you hear the gospel call,

and who may, I don't know if you said they refuse to accept it or they reject his offer of salvation.

But in that response, my question has to do with the verbiage because with universal and gospel call, it's my understanding

that there's also an effectual call, which comes from God. And unless a person gets the effectual
