Hello, hello, hello.

How are you?

I know half the people that got the notification there was a new podcast were like, wait, what?

To be fully transparent, I had not intended to record or post a podcast today.

However, I went to an event last night.

It sparked many, many, many thoughts.

A friend was in town.

He's also a dating and relationship expert.

He's been doing a traveling event where three married men offer themselves up to answer

questions that women have about dating relationships and marriage.

The crux of the advice he offers is about knowing your worth, communication, having standards,

having healthy boundaries, knowing yourself, loving yourself.

When you're giving advice from that foundation, I think it's very hard to go wrong.

What I like about when I listen or when I listen to or read his work is that I feel empowered.

I don't feel like I need to twist and contort and play small and rearrange in order to draw

a partner to me.

I go to the event last night, less to receive advice or even to give it just to support

a friend who's in town who's doing something positive.

I had interesting takeaways.
