John, our first question today is relevant to something that you and I have talked about

on Breakpoint this week, that we did some Breakpoint material on as well.

And it's the Netflix movie, the French movie Cudies, and the controversy surrounding it

and the charges of pedophilia and so forth.

And this writer, or this reader, rather, writes in and says,

The Director of Cuties was trying to highlight the sexualization of girls.

Why are we condemning this movie when that was their intention?

And the film so clearly portrays what happens to girls in a highly sexualized culture.

Okay, so the question here is basically why are Christians and conservatives freaking out over this movie?

Because the point is, according to the director, to criticize the sexualization of girls, not glorify it.

Well, I'm tempted to just give you the Babylon B headline, which is Netflix has film to bring attention to the, you know, what's wrong with

shooting puppies by shooting a bunch of puppies, you know, or something like that.

While sort of shaking their heads and looking at the camera the whole time.

Yeah, is that what it is?

Yeah, I just saw the headline.

I thought it was interesting.

But this is more than just this question.

I'm glad we're tackling this because, you know, there's been a whole series of articles

basically decrying the fact that conservatives are so disgusted and angry at this film
