We're going to talk to Tony Ortiz in just a second.

I'm very excited about that.

But I wanted to mention today is Wednesday, August 13th,

and the early returns from Lions, Dolphins, joint practices are

the Lions offense and defense are both playing exceedingly well.

So this is a very early return, but very good news for what it's worth.

We're not sure what it's worth yet, but good news nonetheless.

game in the next episode. But now our next guest spent 16 seasons as the Detroit Lions

Radio sideline reporter. And these days, he's the afternoon co-anchor on WWJ News Radio 950

and always the nicest guy in the room, no matter what the room is. Tony Ortiz. Tony, how are you? I'm doing good, Zach. How are you? I am doing so well. Always good to speak with you. And Tony, I want to start briefly with Mo Norris. We all saw the DeMarer Hamlin incident not that long ago. And then almost 25 years ago, Mike Utley was paralyzed at the Silver Dome. And we have plenty of listeners that are old enough to remember Chuck Hughes dying at Tiger Stadium in 1971.
