Say, won't he do it? Yes, he will. Welcome to Susie Larson Live Sunday edition. I love this day so much. I love that we get to do this

particular show so much. I actually love my day job as well, doing our day show during the

week where it's a full hour talking to guests. It's amazing. But I so love that we've gotten to

add this special edition where it's a little different format.

It's a shorter format. I'm flying solo, and it's just you and me, baby. So just grab a cup of cozy.

Let's lean in and dig deep as we talk about the deeper life in Christ. For a long time and for a while yet,

I'll be walking through the content of my book, waking up to the goodness of God, 40 days toward healing and wholeness.

And I've got to tell you, this message feels so important.

Because when we live bracing for impact, when we live with our elbows locked,

it is literally terrible for ourselves, so destructive for our soul,

and it deeply impacts our spiritual journey. So we need to be daily imprinting God's goodness

and his loving kindness on our hearts. We need to be daily building a case for the goodness

of God because there are a thousand messages that are trying to tell us otherwise.

And this is not a once-and-done proposition. It's daily reminding your soul and remembering

the goodness of God that you have seen in the land of the living and the promises of what you

will see when Jesus returns. We are foreigners passing through this land.

And unless we keep our eyes on Jesus, the author and the perfector of our faith, we will drift.

We will be led astray. Well, today I want to talk about the idea of breakthroughs and how our idols often get in the way. If you've

followed me for any like the time, you know, I'm profoundly passionate about and interested in

the idea of purpose and calling. I've written about it extensively. I've covered it on the show,

and I just, I know and my knower that we're all called to things that God wants to do in and through us.

Ephesians 210 says so.
