Expo podcast and I'm Chris Reymah. I'm Nick Brecken and I'm Jake Rodkin and we're joined today by Mac Walters from

Bewear that's right lead writer on Mass Effect 2. So how did you get to be

lead right on this project were you were the same role in Mass Effect or were you or is this a new role for you?

It's a new role for me. Drew Corporation was the lead writer on a lot of people know him from

some of his cotor stuff and obviously working at

Bairware for so many years and so he was lead writer I was a senior writer on

Mass Effect and then I killed Drew and then I killed Drew and now and no he actually chose to go down to Austin and he's working

in our Austin office right now and so I took over the mantle of lead writer from

aspect too.

How's that been?

I mean, has it been sort of, does it feel like big shoes to fill or is it kind of a...

It's pretty familiar at this point having already been a senior writer.

Yeah, it's very familiar and the nice thing was I knew, you know,

it was probably about a six month period that I knew Drew was going to be going,

so I had lots of opportunity to ask all the questions and get invited to all the important meetings and things like that.
