near a US-backed aid distribution centre in Gaza.

A government spokesman, David Mensa, earlier denied that Israeli forces had

targeted civilians. He said that IDF troops had fired warning shots towards people who were

approaching them. Our soldiers identified several individuals who were deviating from the
