We have a pretty much immediate reacts episode to what could possibly be a ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon.

I say Lebanon, not Hezbollah, because they have been waging a war on all of Lebanese people and discriminately.

In fact, some of the worst bombing of Israel's air campaign has happened within the past few hours,

leading up to the finalization apparently of a ceasefire proposal and the acceptance of the deal,

which should play out at 10 a.m.

Local time, which I think is 4 a.m. for us here in the United States. But Joe Biden has announced a highly anticipated ceasefire to end the fighting between Israel and Hezbo and what he called a historic deal to end the 14-month-old

war. And before we get to it, we are joined by regular contributors, Matthew Enderline,

former U.S. Army infantry officer currently living in Beirut and Elena Xenafontos,

geopolitical analysts coming to us from London.

So the Israeli prime minister, Netanyahu, has endorsed an imminent ceasefire in the

country's war with the Lebanese group.

After his full cabinet approved the deal earlier today, Tuesday evening, despite opposition from his far-right allies.

Of course, Ben-Gabir and Bezal Smutridge would never agree to that.

But he has a little more sense, apparently, or a little bit more of his political survival instinct than his far-right ministers.

So from which he draws his political power.

So in a televised remarks after the Israeli security cabinet meant to vote on the proposal for a 60-day ceasefire,

Netanyahu said he was ready to implement the deal, but added that Israel's cabinet meant to vote on the proposal for a 60-day ceasefire.
