Our God is so kind and he knows we're not the sharpest tools in the shed.

So he repeats it over and over and every. You see these patterns of redemption.

So I love the fulfillment of the prophecy, but I also love how merciful he is in his repetition.

God is in the business of taking us from barrenness to birthing.

And God is in the business of breathing into dead things

and causing them to be able to come alive. He's such a good God. That the moment we say,

I can't heal myself. The moment we acknowledge our absolute incapacity to heal ourselves and our need for him,

cemeteries turn into sanctuaries and barrenness becomes fruit.

It's been a journey of years.

Yeah, I'm just about to finish a doctorate. Yeah. In the New Testament and it's been a long

journey. Six-year journey at Missy, Rabbi, adopted my little girl from Haiti,

and she didn't speak English. She was almost five when I brought her home. And I knew school

would be an adventure because of her not having English as a first language. And I thought,
