| 0:00.0 | Welcome to the Windmay Give podcast. It's Chad Heim's here. Bob Stewart over there. Bob, how you doing today? |
| 0:13.4 | I'm hiding in my house, Chad. There's a rodent. There's a rodent out front. I can't tell if it's a massive rat. It could be a small baby possum, you said. I'm sorry, a massive mouse. It's definitely not a rat. I don't know what this thing is, but I will tell you that when I stomped kind of near it, I didn't want to get too close because I don't like rodents. They like carry lots of diseases and stuff. I think they were responsible for the bobonic plague. I don't know. But when I stopped by this thing, it didn't even flinch, dude. It just looked up at me like, get out of here. What are you doing? I'm just chilling. So, Bob, what most normal humans would do in this situation is they would take a picture and then they either ask chat GPT or Google what the heck it is or they'd post it on Facebook and say what is this and what do I do? You have not yet done this. I haven't. I haven't. I'm just hoping it'll go away. I don't want to see it out there when we're finished here and I go out and take a breath of your phone. You don't even want a picture of it on your phone. That's too close to you. No, I don't like rodents. Okay. Folks, you now know something new about the identity of Bob Stewart. He is someone that does not like rodents. I see what you did there. You saw it coming. |
| 1:28.5 | Right? |
| 1:29.2 | I mean, |
| 1:29.2 | that one came totally like that was really quick jab. |
| 1:32.9 | I was like, |
| 1:33.2 | where did that come from? |
| 1:34.3 | Right. |
| 1:34.6 | Bob caught that one. |
| 1:35.4 | Folks, |
| 1:35.6 | and here's the segue that I was setting us up for there is we are going to talk |
| 1:40.3 | about just that today. |
| 1:41.4 | Your identity comes before any action. Bob's identity is that he is |
| 1:48.3 | someone who does not like rodents. His action, naturally therefore, said, go back inside and close |
| 1:56.6 | the door tightly, Bob Stewart. Others would have had a different reaction because they have a |
| 2:02.3 | different identity. We are going to talk about some of the language we need to be using. We're |
| 2:08.0 | going to talk about some of the challenges we fight along the way. Bob, I thought this would be a |
| 2:13.6 | good episode because, one, it's evergreen. I mean, we're always looking to adapt our identity. |
| 2:19.4 | We always hit somewhere new plateau. Yet at the same time, there's no time on the calendar |
| 2:25.4 | more appropriate than probably New Year's Eve, which is right around the corner or just |
| 2:30.5 | happened depending when Dave drops this. So happy new year or belated happy new year audience |
| 2:35.5 | that people are kind of reevaluating who they are and what's new for them and what's next. |
