Ideas for online courses were the furthest thing from my mind when I was on the new textbook committee for the 6th grade ELA. At the time, I'd just started teaching and I had noooooooo idea how to create a digital course or what online courses for teachers might even look like. I certainly didn't know what profitable online course ideas might be. Instead, I was in our professional learning classroom to watch four of the biggest companies in education teach us about their books and their learning programs. What I learned, however, was digital course ideas for any teacher wanting to make online courses. I just didn't know it yet.

The Gap and the Gain. I'm going to say that again because when I'm listening to podcasts,

I'm always like, wait, what did she say? The name of the book is called The Gap and the gain,

and it's the high achievers guide to happiness, confidence, and success. Now, this book is written by Dan Sullivan.

If you know anything about Dan Sullivan, he is the OG. He is like the original book creator,

marketer, guru. I started listening to him when I first got started and I became obsessed

with Dan Sullivan and all of his teachings. So when I found out that Dan Sullivan was the author,

I was like, let me in. And I have read it and now I am rereading it, but some of the quotes from

it are just so good that they have stuck with me. And I feel like they relate to teachers so

much. And I'm going to give you some tough love in today's show. I truly believe that we are in a

revolutionary time in the teaching world. You are either with us or you are against us. And I don't

mean this in the way you may be thinking. You are either centering yourself around people who believe
