And next time you meet somebody who wants to tell you about God, just say, okay, what is it?

Yeah, because honestly, they don't know, and we'll get to that. Yeah, it's going to be fun.

But before that, we should tell some stories. We should know.

You know what? I'm going to interrupt these breaking news to say, you and I are coming up on our 500th episode.

I know. This is 498. I know. And we've got two weeks, and then it's the 500th, and we have planned exactly nothing. We have done nothing. We have thought of nothing.

But it seems like something should happen. I don't know what it is. Well, we used to do like, you know, pop a bottle of champagne, or just really try and get genuinely drunk before the show. That's a terrible idea.

We could do it. I can't. I know we're old now. We've been doing this show for 10 fucking years. I know. Isn't it crazy?

Does the name David Archileta mean anything to you, Dan? It may mean something to some members of the audience, but pray not all.

Do you mean vocal phenomenon, David Archileta, former singing sensation, David Archileta? He was like a runner up, right on American Idol back back in the day, right?

Was he only a runner up? I don't think he won. He was a finalist. Well, then, then frankly, I don't see why we should even care about him. Well, here locally, something of celebrity, because he was a little more involved in celebrities. Yeah.

He was a little more maintainager when he went on the show. And then afterwards, he went and served a mission. And that was a big deal. I remember the press cover.

Oh, yeah. David Archileta going on a mission. That was big news here in Utah.

And the news about David Archileta that came out this week didn't surprise me.

He came as a shock to literally nobody. Yes. He came out as a member of the LGBTQIA plus community. Yeah.

And what's interesting is that he doesn't specifically label his sexuality and is coming out. He just says that he's a member of the broader community. Yeah.

He says that he did come out to his family in 2014 as gay, but later realized that he had similar feelings for both genders. So bisexual, I guess.
