Los Angeles practicing law since 1992, including as a public defender in Southern California here.

Tell us a little bit about the firm that you started

and your kind of general background experience?

I was in the public defender's office from 1997 to 2001 and so that's really where I sort

of learned how to cut my teeth on those cases.

And then I wanted to private practice in 2001.

I joined my sister, who had been a public defender as well,

and we started our own practice, and I'm still doing it now but she

was appointed to the bench last January 2019. So I'm now a one-man show and we my

office handles everything from you know garden variety

DUIs or petty theft cases to very serious murder cases and rape cases and

very serious felonies.
