So, this episode comes out Saturday, but we are recording before that.

The latest news at the time of recording is that the U.S. Supreme Court upheld the decision

to ban TikTok unless they sell to a U.S. company.

But also, the Biden administration now says that he does not plan to take any action on the ban

before he leaves office at noon on Monday.

And Donald Trump said he will, quote, review the situation once he's in office.

Before that, TikTok had announced that it would shut off its app for users in the U.S. on Sunday, January 19th, if the decision was upheld.

On Friday, though, the CEO of TikTok said they will work with Trump to keep it going.

So what's going to happen?

We're not sure, and we probably won't get any more clarity until after the presidential inauguration.

But even if TikTok does get a reprieve in the U.S., that doesn't change what it has been

like for and what we've seen from, users worried about the ban going through.
