How many lavish parties have you been to so far this week, Sage? All of them? Well, I mean, I don't know about all of them. I mean, it's only Thursday, and really the lavish, lavish parties start tonight.

So I'm only here one more night.

I'm sort of going to miss most of that.

I guess as I'm 41 years old, I call that nonsense at this point because it's not really my style.

But, yeah, a lot of that stuff is, some of that stuff is tonight, Thursday night, but most of that is Friday and Saturday.

I did go to a fun party last night. It was Mike Silver and Jeff Darlington and Carissa Thompson through a get-together. They always throw it. It's a lot of fun because a lot of NFL network people, a lot of ESPN people, and some box people as well. So that's always a fun one. That's probably for me, sort of the first part of the week is Wednesday night. Nice.

Has the Kobe Bryant news from Sunday, how has that sort of affected Super Bowl week and the festivities?

Have you been able to get a temperature?

Yeah, so, you know, I flew on Monday, and I will say on Radio Row, I had two or three different conversations with different people just about how sort of awkward it was to be there and, you know, to be talking about football and this game and the

matchups and all these things. But, you know, it seemed like everybody has their sort of Kobe Bryant's

story. You know, some people who met him, some people who actually know him. Obviously, most people

just have watched him play and sort of seen him over the years. But, you know, everyone's sort of affected by that tragedy a little, you know, different than others. And, you know, for me, it sort of hit me in a lot of different ways, but in particular, you know, it seemed like that that amazing relationship with his daughter. And for some who has two daughters, that really struck really struck home with me and that struck home with a lot of other dads out there yeah it is I feel like I feel like people have sort of now that the lakers have put out a statement and it feels like people are starting to move forward a little bit I'm looking forward to the lakers blazers game tomorrow night but um I think by the time the Super Bowl gets here on Sunday, it'll be sort of business as usual,

which, by the way, let's talk a little Super Bowl here.

I think there's so much talk about Niners' defense and can Jimmy Garapolo carry the

Niners if it's a shootout and Pat Mahomes.

And I actually think one of the stories that's getting overlooked is Andy Reid has been an NFL

head coach for 20 years.

If you stacked his regular season resume and everything up to the Super Bowl credentials,

up against most coaches, he'd be one of the great coaches of all time.

I think Andy Reid has a chance to move to a different level in people's minds if the Chiefs win this game on Sunday.

Yeah, I think that for me, and not a lot of other people I've talked to here, because this has been a conversation piece on Radio Row, is Andy Reid is a Hall of Famer to almost everybody.
