Now, before we jump into today's episode,

I want to give a quick warning that this episode does include discussion of murder and sexual assault. So today we are talking

about someone who has kind of been the internet's main character for several weeks.

I am of course talking about Gypsy Rose Blanchard. On December 28th,

2023, Gypsy Rose Blanchard was released from prison after serving eight years

for the brutal murder of her mother, D.

And when Gypsy Rose is released,

the internet loves her.

They make memes.

They crown her mother.

They follow her on Tik-talk and and Instagram, they write very supportive comments, and they talk about her like she is America's sweetheart.

But when I think about Gypsy Rose's internet presence, I can't help but think about this episode we did in October,

where we talked about John Romano, a Tik-Tock content creator who was also a former school shooter.

When Romano was 16, he walked into his... who was also a former school shooter.

When Romano was 16, he walked into his high school, with a shotgun in an attempt, he says, to

commit law enforcement assisted suicide.
