He was able to hand the ball off to Trevor Eton, which was the game-winning touchdown.

So Stockton from Raven County, Tiger, Georgia, comes into the game, gets a victory.

Now, assumingly, he will be the starter versus the Indiana, Notre Dame winner.

Let's assume it's Notre Dame.

I remember another quarterback a couple of years ago who came in and played his

first action to replace an injured quarterback, and then he got his first start as the Georgia

quarterback against a Notre Dame team. Who is that? I don't know. You tell me, Coach. It was you. No, I know it was. Jake, wrong, baby.

Because that's a big spot for old Gunner Stockton. At least he's got 24 days to get ready.

Yep, no, no doubt. He has a lot more time than I did. And, man, he's been there. He's been preparing. I had a great conversation with him

this all season, just kind of kind of where he's at, preparing, and just trying to stay

mentally focused, even though you're not the guy taking reps and you're not the guy starting,

kind of where you're at mentally and kind of emotionally, you know, with that as well.

So, man, I'm so pumped for Gunner.

I think he is just geared up and ready to take on this opportunity, take the bull by the horns,

and really expect a lot of good things from him.
