And speaking to, like, the essence of Ice spice, like a song that we cannot say without, like, giggling, like, 14, you know what I mean? It is. Oh my gosh. And I will say I actually did not like that song at first. Like I, to the point of the question you just like mentioned about like lyricism, I was like, girl, like what? Because what is she saying? She's like, I'll be going hard. I'm breaking their hearts. Bitches be quick but I'm quicker. Fitchers be thick but I'm thicker. She can be rich when I'm like, now what I'm saying? I'm like, all right. Like she ate that a little bit. But at the time, I was just like, what is happening here? But it's a really hard beat and it's And it's fun. And it's not for everyone.

Everyone's not going to want

to listen to a song you know she's always in her poop fart bag i'm like girl what is this but it

definitely grew on me like it definitely absolutely grew on me so i was like oh this is this is a cool

little but there was another song that came out prior to that and i was like oh this is good but yeah fart grew on me at first I was like this is this is not for me cool before we talk with the other songs I just want to also concur that like that thank you the shit fart really also grew on me a lot and like honestly now having heard the rest of the album I kind of understand why it was the single because it's the most obvious like sort of like I like, I mean, listen, at first I was like, I can't believe that she's saying this, but it really does get stuck in your head.

Like you're like, damn, she really just said, you think you're the shit, you ain't even the fart.

And she says it like kind of seriously and like menacingly in a way that's like genuinely funny.

And I will reiterate my the moment that this song, I think I talked about this on the show at one point,

but the minute that this song actually clicked for me was, I was in a group chat and of course like the song came out and we were all like, what the fuck is this song? Like this is the silliest thing I've ever heard in my entire life. And like three days went by and my dear friend, Stephen Avalos, out out of nowhere texted the group chat and just said,

you know what? Kind of like shit fart. And I was like that text alone made it click to me. I was like,

okay, yeah, kind of like shit fart too. I got to be honest. Yeah. I also think it's instructive into how Ice Spice wants us to think about her, you know?

She puts this out and she's willingly silly.

She wants you to think of her as being a girl to come and have fun with.
