With people going out into the streets of Minneapolis, New York, Los Angeles, Houston, Philadelphia, Boston, D.C. and on and on. And in total, you had the activist group Indivisible saying that there were at least a thousand events planned just for Saturday and Sunday. Stand up, fight, bad.

It even reached the Golden Globes where you had celebrities wearing pins featuring slogans like Be Good and Ice Out, and those including the likes of Ariana Grande, Wanda Sykes, and Mark Ruffalo. And that is you had one battle after another, which is a movie about a white nationalist authoritarian regime hunting down undocumented immigrants, winning four awards, more than any other film there. Now all that said, that does not mean this reaction has been universal, where the reaction from the American right has been pretty dismissive of the whole protest movement. Among those, you had people like Fox News host, Rich Edson, being like, you know, why aren't people protesting the repression in Iran? And there you had AOC's former communications director Corbin Tren just shutting them down with this answer. But isn't that the same though, where's the protest against the regime that's killing people in the street right now? I mean, I don't see anybody at Columbia. Well, they're doing those today and it's called the ICE protests. Well, but they're talking about Iran of the ICE protests? No, I think they're talking about the regime that's shooting people in the face. And for many, not just these protesters, they really do see it that way, that Trump's federal agency or they're not just ordinary law enforcement. They're a hostile occupying army and communities that do not want them there. That's why increasingly we've seen just too many videos to count of people confronting ICE agents, filming them, shouting at them, even getting into one-on-one debates like this guy did. Get out fuck out of our city! I'm not gonna get out of your city. Yeah, you're a fucking Nazi Nazi. You weren't for the orange tashes and cheese. Fuck you, Nazi pieces of it. Don't put the fucking good in me, you, dig off your mask, you little, just leave them, you guys. That's right. Get the fuck out of here. Get the fuck out of here.
