professional organization for historians, mostly within the U.S., but also outside of. We just had an

election that voting closed on the 15th, so a couple days ago.

And there was a slate, several organizations like historians for peace and democracy or democracy,

I always mess up these names, but historians for Palestine, several organizations put together

a slate of candidates. And I was put on one of the nomination council positions.

So we'll see, I don't know when we find out what the electoral results.

But we had pretty much candidates from president all the way down to nominating council

because of the shady shenanigans that the HAA leadership has pulled on on historians who want action on Palestine over the last couple years.
