With Mack Brown being formally introduced on Tuesday as the new head football coach of the North Carolina Tar Heels, a new chapter for UNC football is about to begin. When Inside Carolina broke the story on Monday that Brown was going to be named as head coach, the initial reactions from both the UNC fanbase and national media to the news were mixed. 1:10.1	Yeah, I was kind of skeptical, probably like a lot of people.
1:15.7	You know, it's while Mac Brown is a proven winner, he hasn't coached in now five years.
1:22.5	And when he was finishing up coaching, you know, Texas kind of ran him out of Austin. So I think there
1:29.3	is a reason to kind of be, kind of have your guard up if you're Carolina. I think a lot of people
1:35.6	are going back to the memories of the 90s. But, you know, with Mack Brown coming back,
1:41.9	there is this certain buzz around Carolina football that we haven't
1:45.3	really had since, you know, halfway through the 2016 season where, you know, we're making national
1:51.9	headlines for the right reasons instead of, you know, selling shoes. So I think it's, I think
1:58.1	it's a good hire for North Carolina. And I'm excited to see Mack Brown back in Chapel Hill.
