Hard to believe Christmas is now in the rearview.

Greg and I back in action on Inside Carolina Daily's.

Greg seems pretty logical to talk about the ACC.

ACC basketball kicking into high gear this week.

Carolina, of course, has Florida State and then SMU this week.

But the ACC in general has been a lot better this year than it has in the past couple of years.

And I think it bodes well for teams like North Carolina looking to get quality wins as the season progresses.

Yeah, and no doubt, Tommy. and one of the main sticking points last year,

if you go back to North Carolina's schedule, is they play this weird setup in non-conference play

where that non-conference slate was roughly top five nationally.

They had a bunch of high-end teams.

And so they were not able to stack any kind of Q1 wins during non-conference play

because they were playing such good teams.

And then by the time they got to the ACC play,

the ACC was just a disaster last year outside of Duke.

And it was very difficult to find any kind of quality wins and conference play.

So it was really a worst case scenario in terms of a team hunting those valuable Q-win
