There's no footy to look forward to this weekend in terms of the Reds, but there are some reds in action and we'll touch upon that towards the end of the show. So we might as well get on with the show.

We're going to start with a little bit of an international roundup from Thursday evenings fixtures.

Three Liverpool players, that is Jeremy Frimpong, Ryan Gravenberg and Virgil Van Dyck,

all played as the Netherlands.

Yeah, as a comprehensive 4-0 win over Malta in their World Cup qualifier.

Cody Gachpo scored two penalties and also got an assist.

So along the way it was Gravenberg and Van Dyck played the full game.

Frimpong went off midway through the second half and Gatchpo went off a little bit later on as well.

So all four

featured heavily for the for the dutch national side in their win andy roberton played last night

as well um he captains scotland as they came from one-nill down actually a goal against a goal for greece

scored by costas timicasse who's currently out on loan from the pool, of course.

He put the Greeks ahead at Hampton Park, but Scotland came back on one three-one with Andy Robertson playing in that game.

So yeah, congratulations to those players who played for their countries last night.

Sticking on the international theme for now,

Ibrahim Canate, France have a fixture tonight,

and I'll speak about that later on.

However, Ibu Canate is a doubt for that game.
