So Josh, let's get straight into today.

We're going to cover a lot of different drugs and a lot of different targets.

So starting off with the introduction, what's the 360 big viewpoint here?

I think this is a super important podcast because a lot of times you're talking about relatively

niche topics where you might encounter one patient with a certain disorder every year or perhaps

every other month, something like that.

But pain and critical illness is so common, probably the majority of your patients are

going to have this.

So a high level competence and managing pain is something that you can bring to every single one of your patients and really improve outcomes.

That's our ground base here. Let's go on to how do we diagnose the pain? Because I have to say,

our patient population is a little tricky. It's almost veterinary medicine sometimes. So there

are validated scores. But it's not like I can always come up to all my patients and say, what's your pain out of 10? Is it, Josh?

Yeah, this is insanely difficult to do.
