Josh, why don't you start us off with definitions?

Should we care about H-CAP anymore or should I just erase that from my mind?

Oh boy.

This is a tough one.

So the IDSA guideline on ventilator associated pneumonia recently came out and they basically

said the H-CAP kind of like can exist anymore. And the IDSA-CAP guidelines, the community-acquired pneumonia guidelines, are still pending.

So we're in this weird vortex of time where they've kind of said H-CAP doesn't exist,

but they haven't replaced it with anything.

So I have no good answer here.
