And I know we're just starting, but you're in the heat of this right now, aren't you, Josh?

Yeah, we've gotten a couple cases.

And I'm pretty excited about this chapter, but I have to say that initially I wasn't planning

to do a chapter on severe influenza because there isn't a lot of great evidence for it.

And I was figuring like, you know, what would we write about?

There wouldn't be a lot of good science for it.

But then, Lou Cesar was just bearing down upon us like a steamroller, and I figured, you know what, I'll give it a shot. I'll see what we got. So this chapter has a lot of things which are not based on super great evidence.

And if you're like a hardcore evidence-based medicine person who insists on a randomized

control trial for everything, just turn off this podcast now and just go listen to something else.

Ignore it.

It is a bit of the bleeding edge, as Scott likes to say.

We won't focus solely on treatments here, but we have a lot of discussion around resuscitation,

antibiotics, specific antiviral therapy, and then your adjuvant therapy. And then what would be

a critical care podcast without trying to sneak a little HLH in there? So I'm super stoked. Let's get
