How are things in BC?

They're good.

I want to thank everybody at a population level because it appears that our aggressive

isolation and early isolation is working because not just our sample biased testing strategy

is plateaued, but our actual hospitalizations and death rate is quite plateaued and especially

compared to the rest of the country.

So thank you to everybody for staying home because that's helping. Outstanding. How are you guys doing in Vermont? We're doing

okay. Things I think are just starting to warm up a little bit here. Vermont seems to be a week

or two behind everyone else. You're staying safe, I hope. Yeah, yeah, I'm good. Good. Today, we're going to

cover a new concept of COVID exceptionalism, which is not really new,

but it's something we need to address.

We'll cover a heme-specific complication and this whole DIC insanity that changes on the

Twitter sphere every day.

We'll redefine cytokine storm and try to find a balance between HLH and KRT.

And then we'll go over specifics around physiology of early COVID, using APRV as the vent mode
