Glad to have you with us on this Friday as we wrap up the first week of the new

edition of Bunweiser's weekday sports beat along with Irish Breakdown. I'm Sean Steyers.

And we of course have Notre Dame football training camp coming up in a week. And so with that in mind, we're going to be talking a little Notre Dame football training camp today.

We're going to do a little bit of a preview.

And to do that, we're bringing in my new slash old co-host of this show. He'll be here every Friday. Mr. Eric Hansen from blue and gold.

How are you, Eric? I love that introduction. I'm doing great after that. I'll make you my agent since I don't have one.

Maybe you need one. You know, maybe we all need agents right now.

You know, like I said, you and I used to do this.

It's been maybe, what, five plus years, I guess, since we were doing this together.

It was right around the time of the pandemic, I think.

When things went sideways was around the last time. and then weekday sports beat took a lot of

different directions out of that and or after that and here we are right now so eric hanson

is with us good to see as always as we get ready how many camps is this going to be for you as we get ready for this training

camp starting for Notre Dame next Thursday? Yeah, I tried to do the math. I came up with 28 for sure,

and then there were bits and pieces because before I got into the Notre Dame coverage, I was the

Big Ten beat writer, but there were times I'd

slide over and do some Notre Dame stuff. And I know 1991 spring was one spring where I had to do

a lot of training camp stuff. So you, you at least go back to some extent to the Lou Holtz days then.

Oh, yeah, I wrote on the golf cart with him after practice that the strategy was he would drive it from the end of practice back to his office at the Joy Center.

And it was so bumpy.
