I'm Vince Diderio, and I am joined by a very special guest in Tom Noy, Indy Insider with the South End Tribune.

Tom, thank you for hanging out with me today, my man. I've got nothing else to do on a snowy Thursday in January after covering a like nine month it felt like nine year football season so so long.

So long.

I keep trying to remind myself, February is next week and we just got done covering football.

Seriously. I mean, you're not kidding. That's after the game was over and, you know,

we have 11 hour drive back home and I'm thinking of myself, spring ball starts in like a month.

It's just, I mean, it's the longest, obviously the longest football season ever in college football.

And, you know, Notre Dame was there from start to finish.

And we were there, start to finish.

And it was one of the longest seasons.

I mean, it felt like the longest season ever.

You know what I mean?

But you knew it was going to be that way.

Like, you kind of got the idea that if this thing goes to distance,

they're going to be playing on January 20th.

And the more time you spend around that football team,

the more time you kind of, the more you thought,

they got a chance to get to the national championship game, maybe not win the national

championship, depending on who was coming out of the other side of the bracket.

But when this thing got rolling, you could see that it was going to get rolling for a while

through December and then through most of January the way it did.
