Summary

Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.” It’s one thing to say you believe these words of the Bible, but another to take them to heart in the face of unthinkable conditions as a prisoner of war, and also losing your husband. On today’s classic edition of Family Talk, Darlene Rose, a missionary in the Pacific Islands during World War II, recounts the promises of God that she clung to during the horrible trials she was made to endure.
