Jesus saw two brothers, Simon who was called Peter and Andrew his brother,

And he said to them, follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

Immediately they left their nets and followed him.

And going on from there, he saw two other brothers, James, the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in the boat

and their father and followed him. Dear apostles, what an astonishing reaction of yours? We don't know why Jesus decided to choose you and know others.

We don't know of any special talents you had, or whether you could write, read, speak in public, or answer basic religious questions about your faith.

When Jesus called you, you responded immediately.

We don't know what Jesus saw on you, but maybe it was just that, that you were ready to say yes, without delay.
