1:04.1 | And this particular community and others like it are often referred to as hate groups because their thoughts, their discussions, their materials, beliefs are typically highly resentful of women and often condone actual violence against women and sexually active people. |
1:22.1 | There's actually been a handful of mass murders, other acts of violence that have been committed by men who have identified as in-sales or being part of this community. |
1:31.5 | So obviously a really highly contentious topic we'll be discussing today and obviously a super dangerous message that a lot of these groups spread. |

2:01.8 | Yeah, no, thank you for having me. I appreciate the chance to speak out against a lot of this stuff and the chance to tell my story and to warn other guys about how dangerous these communities really are. |
2:14.0 | Yeah, absolutely. So now that we've got kind of the general definitions out of the way, can you tell us how you first became involved in these subcultures and what it was that really drew you into them? |
2:25.9 | Yeah, so I'm going to keep this as short as I can. I kind of had a rough upbringing childhood. |
2:33.6 | My parents divorced at a really early age and we were in lower middle class. We were really poor. |
2:39.0 | And so I was raised by a single mom, me and my brother. |
2:42.6 | And we ended up moving. We were living in California at the time. |
