The vibes around Tallahassee are as bad as I've seen them at probably any time.

The mustache just is growing in an alarming rate. Great call on the War Machine movie, by the way. Watch it last night. It was fantastic. Yeah, it was good. Alan Rich and Rich and did a pretty good job. But our guest today that is debating Florida and Florida State, and we're going to get into the details of this. You can catch him on Andy and Ari. Was a hell of a player. He's a hell of a dude. Our buddy, Andy Staples. Andy, what's up, buddy? How's it going? Not hell of a player. The other guy was a hell of a player. But I'm a little unclear what we're debating here. Perfect. A little unclear. It's kind of like the presidential debates. Are we debating academic rigor? Are we doing that? That's actually the first question. I don't think that'll come up, actually. Whose sociology department does good? And then our other guests, you can catch him on Sirius XM. He was a hell of a player too, Andy.

It was going to be better nightlife. And then thirdly, we were going to hit on academics, which is Florida States well known as the Harvard of the South.

I thought I could make it. The nightlife has always been better in Tallahassee and continues to get better as Florida's academic reputation increases. Let's be real. There's too many nerds in Gainesville to have any claim on the nightlife title. That's what I think.

When I think at Gainesville, I think way too many nerds. Yeah, it's the first thing. That and Tim Tebow. I say this is a dad who's got kids who might want to go to UF and I'm a little, I'm sweating it right now. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, see those ACT T scores. Don't ask me. they started putting letters in the math, I forgot it.

But if we were going to be debating coeds, you know, if anybody needed to go down and do some research,

hands off, of course, as a father here, I would volunteer for that.

All right, if you haven't seen our debate series, these are the rules.

We will give each guest a prompt. It will be the same prompt. All right, the audience, you guys are going to determine who wins by in the comments, putting the name Danny, putting the name Andy, FSU, Florida, however you want to do it. We can decipher it. You are going to choose the winner. They will get to answer each, and then they will get a rebuttal. All right, let's do this. Guys, I want to start because there's an interesting dynamic that's going on with both head coaches at both places. You know, Mike Norvell's caught a lot of hell here lately, and he should have. The last two seasons have not gone to plan, but he did go undefeated three seasons ago. So it's not like the guy doesn't know how to do it or can't do it.

And then you have John Summerall coming into Florida, has not coached at this high of a level,

but has had a ton of success.

My question to you guys, and I will start Andy with you,

which coach do you trust more to win right now? Mike Norvell or John

Sumerall? I trust John Sumral more because the situation Mike Norvelle is in almost makes it

impossible for him. It's not like you said, it's not that he's forgotten how to do this. It's not that

he doesn't know how to do this. We've seen him win at a high level. We saw him win at a high level at Memphis. We saw him take floor state to 13 and 0 in 2023. But the problem is now he's in a situation where I think a lot of the college football world views him as fired coach walking. And what happened last year where there were legitimate discussions of do we want to pay

this buyout can we afford this right now people don't forget that and it makes it very difficult

for you to operate and so he's had to operate through an entire portal cycle he's had to sign
