I was just finishing up my 50 countertop pushups on a 30-day

challenge. Well, I want you to think of something you could do or you could add to your life

and then do it for 30 days straight. Let me explain. John Maxwell has something he calls the Law of the Rubber Band.

Now, the law of the rubber band basically states that if you want to go to the next level,

you have to be stretched. If you want to achieve your goals, if you want to live your dreams,

you want to get out of a rut, you've got to be stretched. In other words, you've got to get comfortable

being uncomfortable. Well, for 11 years of my life, I was comfortable. I wasn't stretching.

I drove the same route to work, worked at the same desk, in the same office, doing the same task,

and that's fine if you love what you're doing, I did love my job but I didn't have a plan

to grow myself I had no plan for personal growth well because I stopped growing and stretching

everything around me stopped growing you know they say that if you're not stretching if you're

not growing you start dying. Well, nothing improved.

My relationships didn't improve.

Nothing changed because I stopped changing.
