In 1988, In Eritrea Marquette was going through a transition phase in her life. I was about 27 years old, living in South LA, between Dinker and Normandy at the time.

I had two children, youngsters.

I was going through a rough period in my life.

I just split up with my ex.

He was keeping the children.

I didn't have nothing to keep myself busy besides work, but I was still trying to get

my own self together because I was like in a bad place to myself.

At the time, the reason of the breakup, because I was a really big, I'm a big girl, but I

was really big then.

I would say verbal insults, the mindset at the time, is not in very good frame.

As for me, I used to be, you know, not caring about what I weighed or looked like, still don't. I've gotten used to myself and comfortable with myself.

I should say now.

Back then, I think Skinny was in.

And Skinny is not me.

Though Inutria was only 27, she had already been working in home care for 12 years.
