Is gonna make us angry. It's gonna make us sad emotional uncomfortable

But I think it's a conversation that we feel we have to have and you know

I think our guest has a voice and a story that we want to offer this platform to

Because we think it's important, you know, that we hear from the victims the the targets of these tragedies as much as possible

Not just you know the politicians the lawmakers the psychologist everyone that sort of weighs in when these atrocities happen

and with that said we're gonna be speaking about the

Parkland shooting which took place at Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida in 2018

It is the deadliest high school shooting in the history of the United States

surpassing Columbine

17 people died another 17 were injured and

It's of course one of the countries most publicized school shootings and I think not just because of the death toll

That was involved but because of the reaction of the students

The way that they were able to kind of come together on a national level
