We continue this thank you next series. If you're just joining us today,

we're taking some of the most famous verses in the Bible and we're trying to

explore and get our bearings and see if there's anything that maybe some

added context can inform us on and today we have come to the grand daddy of them

all. I remember when I got to preach a Missouri one time and they I was trying to

do something fun while I'm in the place just so I can get my my my my feet wet

in the culture and when I was in Missouri preaching I said what's to be done?

They said well first of all we are going to get you the biggest fried chicken steak

sandwich that plate you've ever had in your life and so I believe I will live a

shorter life because of that meal that I ate that day and then secondly they

said we would like to take you to the grand daddy

of all Bass Pro Shops because this is the the fount

from which all Bass Pro has emanated around the world here in Missouri

and they did indeed take me to the foremost Bass Pro shop we were there for hours

and I did not see the 10th of what they had in this place

of most unbelievable thing I've ever seen in my life it was a red neck

Disneyland is what it was and it was amazing I mean you there was penguins running around

I don't know why there was there was there was alligators running around but there was

then then I stumbled into the Teddy Roosevelt wing which I was like well hello I

guess the the founder of Bass Pro is a big TR fan I was like this is my kind of

people and so there was there was all that kind of stuff there's a Lewis and Clark

room I mean it was just fabulous but the grand daddy of all
