This is Haley. Hi, Haley. Hi, Tara. Happy 25th anniversary of Gilmore Girls. Happy 25th, baby. I know. So exciting. It's technically the Tuesday before the 25th. The 25th anniversary of Gilmore Girls is Sunday, October 5th, because 25 years on that date, 25 years ago on that date, the Gilmore Girls first stepped out onto the scene. I can't believe it.

Just stepped out onto the same. Gilmore Girls. I can't believe it. I can't believe we're here.

I know. Everyone I mentioned to that it's the 25th anniversary of Gilmore Girls is like, shocked. Shocked. They're completely shocked. I know. I don't know. Everyone I mentioned to that it's the 25th anniversary of Gilmore Girls is like, shocked.

Shocked. They're completely shocked. And I don't know if it's because like all of us, like, well, I won't say all of us. A lot of us have been watching for 25 years or 23 or somewhere around there. Yeah.

Maybe even just five, one, whatever. I think for me it's probably closer to 20. But still, it's a lot of years.

It's a lot of years.

And I think that a lot of people, like it came to them, like maybe when the revival came back out, like it came back into the zeitgeist or like when it came out on Netflix.

Or like as of late, like the last probably like I feel like five years just just been this like

inundation of like Gilmore Girls fall as Lauren Graham mentioned Gilmore Girls or the fall

season took Gilmore Girls hostage or the other way around yeah um Gilmore girls took fall hostage um

they did and that's okay we love that and that's okay love that. That's like exactly the kind of kidnapping we want. Yeah. Is that right? Yeah. That's the only one. That's a kind of hostage situation we can support is when Gilmore Girls has taken the season of fall hostage. I loved that.

I thought that was so funny.

And of course,

we're talking about the Emmys,

which we'll get into in a little bit because I was there. We will get into. We will get into it. We will get into it. Because Tara has not told me anything about it. No. We haven't talked about it yet. Specifically, because we wanted to talk together here. Yeah. But yeah, everyone's excited about it or like surprised by it. And I think it's because like

Gummer Girls just has like a timeless nature to it that feels like it could have been or maybe

we're all just like millennials who feel like we're 15 years old and like, no, no way.

In our hearts.

That came out just a couple years ago. I know. It's crazy, crazy to think about. But very cool that we get to be here and talk about it on this podcast that our podcast is in full swing during the 25th anniversary is something very special to me. And I know we've been talking about it for the last couple years since we started doing this. Like, oh my God, like the 25th anniversary is in a couple years. Oh, 25th anniversaries next year. And I was like,

oh my God, it is here. We're here. We're celebrating it. And we want to do it upright. So
