There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man.

It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity.

It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition,

and it lies between the pit of man's fears

and the summit of his knowledge.

This is the dimension of imagination.

It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone.

The Twilight Zone. The I shot an arrow into the air, it fell to earth, I knew not where, for so swiftly it flew,

the sight could not follow it in its flight.

I breathed a song into the air. It fell to earth,

I knew not where, for who has sight so keen and strong that it can follow the flight of a song?

Long, long afterward, in an oak, I found the arrow still unbroken,, and the song from beginning to end, I found again

in the heart of a friend. That's a poem called The Arrow and the Song by Henry Wadsworth

Longfellow, and it's a nice short little poem. If you look out there, it's interpreted in a couple of

different ways by different people, but it seems to be generally thought to give the reader

pause for thought about their actions towards other people. You know, what do we put out there?

Sharp, unkind words can be quickly spoken, but for the person

who's on the other end of those words, the effect can, as the poem says, lasts for a long,

long time. Whereas putting out kind words, words of encouragement or comfort, again, they can be quickly

said and you might not even think about saying them, but those words too can last for a long,

long time and enrich someone's being in ways that you might never know.
