We shall see whether the president's involvement in the Russia-Ukraine-slash-Europe situation yields peace.

Indeed, feels a little unlikely, but we will discuss both amongst ourselves and with experts today.

The sides appear to be quite far apart at this point, but who knows?

How much is sincere, a sincere expression of what they can and cannot accept,

and how much is just posturing

so as not to give away their hand

before the negotiations begin.
