Oh, so glad you're here.

You can be seated. Those of you online, we're so glad

you're joining with us. I'm going to get right to it. Malachi chapter three tonight. Don't rejoice

yet unless you've read ahead to stay ahead, you know what's ahead.

This is arguably one of the most powerful yet most misunderstood chapters specific to robbing God by not revering God.

I chose revere which in a way can be synonymous with fear,

but we're going to talk about that tonight because I don't know that many of us, myself

included. I've had to, over the years, really get understanding, seek understanding of

what it means to have the fear of the Lord. I mean,

I read the Proverbs that tell me that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

The fear of the Lord is to hate evil. And so I'm starting to get a little bit of a, you know,

thumbnail sketch of what is the fear of Lord, you know?

And it's not what you think.

And so we're going to try to tackle that tonight, but there's another thing that we're going to tackle

tonight that is something that I don't like to talk about, which is why we don't receive an offering at this church, never have.
