To give you a little bit of context, I'm the stepmom, 30 year old, taking care of my partner's

daughter. I've known her since she was five and now she's turning 13. She calls

me mummy and introduces me as her mum to her friends. Now there's the birth mother.

She's living overseas and barely communicates with the kid. There was even a point that they
