Thank you, Dr. Lowe, for taking my call.

After listening to your program, I have held on to a word you described me to a

duty and that was sadly despicable. I raised three kids on my own. One, the oldest was very, very

dysfunctional. I had in my brain in this chaotic time of life, if I fix the oldest dysfunctional chaotic kid, that would

ease my family's woes.

And then my second very, very much upright student, great guy who got a job disowned me after he got married and had kids. I am now getting a little

more in touch with him, but there's still a distance I've decided after

listening to your show because I paid attention to the wrong one the right ones

suffered greatly and I just I want to apologize to my second son and I want to make

sure that that's the right move because I don't want to jeopardize that relationship anymore.

Yeah, I don't understand why you think that would not be a good move apologizing explaining and apologizing.

Exactly. Yeah, I, I, the relationship's been so 10 years.

So I, the relationship's been so ten years so I appreciated your insight into that type of moves that I did make with them growing up and I just wanted to make sure that me coming now to that

realization when I'm 73 and he's going to be 40 would be a healing property.

It's never too late for a child, no matter what age, to appreciate a parent taking responsibility

for whatever hurts they felt.
