Welcome back to another episode of Small Bowl with Kenny Beachham today.

I feel like we should talk about some young chords across basketball.

I'm going to try my very best to rank the top 10 young cores and hoops based on the way I kind of see things.

Later in the episode, I'm going to talk about all-in-A because there's a surprising amount of all-N-A spots that are up for grass because of injuries from last year's winners of the award. And we got so much more, man, you know how it goes here on Smallball. I want to start off with this young chorus thing because, you know, I'm watching some teams out there the other night,

and I'm like, man, I still can't believe how young some of these teams really are.

Like the best team in a league still has one of the lowest average age.

I mean, in the other conference, the Detroit Pissons, their average age is still really low.

So we have a young league while on the opposite side, a lot of our goats are aging.

Like LeBron James' streak of 10 plus games of, I'm sorry, 10 points in a game just ended this week.

And it's becoming a younger person's league and so much so that maybe some other goats get sent home, fairly parts of the season.

But let's get into it with the top 10 young chorus and ball. And I already got a hiccup, y'all, because I'm going 10 through 1, as you can imagine. My number 10 spot is up for grabs, and I want to explain the three teams I have here in the reason for them. And then maybe that'll help me decide who is number 10. The first team I had on the list for number 10 was the Washington Wizards. They are one of the youngest teams in the league, right? Alex Tsar is a good ball player. Kishon George is a good ball player. And it's got it. You got comments from the coach about Cam Whitmore, Bob Carrington has lost his powers. Bilakulubali, I still don't, I mentioned him a couple episodes

ago. I don't really know what he is as an NBA player, but they're young enough that they have so many players, like somebody's going to hit, maybe that is Alexar. The next team I had was the Dallas Mavericks. Cooper Flag is really hitting a stride right now over the last couple weeks. It's really just kind of him lively, who really can't play at this moment in time, and then like Ryan Nimhard is their young core.

I could see something there if you really truly believe that Cooper Flag is as good as we expect him to be. And the last team that I gave considerations to for the number 10 spot was the Minnesota Tim Bulls. And they literally have one player. And his name is Anthony Edwards. Is Anthony Edwards just that good as a young core himself? It overpowers

Dallas and the Washington Wizardsers, maybe. And I do want to say young core is very subjective here.

I don't have it like they have to be under 25 or this much service time. I just went all vibes.

I'm going to decide that it is Anthony Edwards. I'm going to decide Anthony Edwards in the

Minnesota. Even though there are the young players like you really hope Rob DeLahan play, he can't really play. I'm going to decide that it is Anthony Edwards. I'm going to decide Anthony Edwards in the Minnesota team.

Even though there are the young players, like you really hope Rob DeLahan play, he can't really play. Some of the other guys on that bench, yeah. Even a guy that you feel like is a young guy, like a Terran Shannon Jr. It turns out to be older than Anthony Edwards. All right. Number nine is where I had the Charlotte Horn. The Charlotte Hornets aren't in the unique spot because they have a young core of Lamello Ball, Con Cnipple, Brandon Miller, Ryan Calkburner, and I'm going to say Cyan James and then to John Salon, who just had a 20-point game a few nights ago. That seems pretty good. But the reason why they're lower than maybe consensus here is because I don't even know

if that front office values lamello ball to be a part of a young core.

I don't even know if they value Brandon Miller to be a part of a young core.

But because they're on the team, they give some level of respect, so I got them on number nine.
